Went this afternoon for brunch w/ my husband. We both had never been here but heard good things. We had a reservation and only had to wait about 5 min for our table...no problem. We sit and the waiter took our drink order...at least that's what my husband told me as I could not hear one word he said. I asked for a mamosa, and I was told they do not serve alcohol. I found this very strange, but no big deal. So we ordered and the food was taking a while. Mind you it is now after 2PM and I have yet to eat anything so I was really hungry. I noticed other people had a deliciously looking bread basket, and when I asked our waiter if we could have bread he said no. So I said, other people have it, and he said it's b/c they ordered eggs and just looked at me annoyed instead of offering us some bread even as an extra side. So I ordered the Norma's benedict, normal except instead of an eng. muffin it had buttermilk pancakes...yum, right. WRONG, they were not buttermilk they were lemon and completley disgusting. Had it said on the menu lemon I would not have ordered it. When I told the waiter I didn't like it b/c it was lemon he made a face at me and acted very annoyed. My husband ordered the monte cristo sandwich which came with a very spicy mustard on it that also was not listed on the menu. We did not eat our dishes and asked for the check. They rest of the staff was not helpful or nice. We live in the city and go to brunch often and we have never received service as bad as this. We will NEVER return.
Cons: Service, atmosphere & inaccurate menu
