I have eaten at the Morrison Inn a number of times, and I love the food. On my last visit (july 2006) I selected ""Roberto's Favorite"" burrito. It's a nice plate of food, with an unusual and savory burrito made with chicken, spinach, artichoke and a wonderful queso sauce... No, it's not really a mexican dish at all. But it sure is delicious, and one of my favorites too. With a nicely limed Corona beer, a great meal. A casual, creaky-floored place with wobbly tables and affordable mexican style food. This is not Pete's Satire, it is not Ophelia's on olde Wadsworth... It's the Morrison Inn... another beloved, quirky, unusual mexican place that really delivers what patrons want. Great food. If you like to whine about watery margaritas, try the house margarita. That's the ticket. People who know; order the top shelf margarita. Macho...Por Favor....
Pros: Unusual, savory mexican style fare.
Cons: Parking can be a challenge, especially on show nights at Red Rocks.
