I took my daughter for a "girls day out" away from her kids. We had the works, Full body massage, spa manicure & spa pedicure. Bottom line: Extremely disappointed. Massage was fine, but was billed as "aromatherapy" and the only aroma in the room was when the masseuse told us to take deep breaths of the lotion she had on her hands. No candles, soft music, or aroma to make the massage more enjoyable and relaxing. The REAL disappointment came with the manicure and pedicure. Each of us had a different manicurist (my daughter's was also her masseuse) and even though they were friendly, offered glasses of wine, they really did talk too much and their skills were minimal. I get manicures and pedicures regularly, every other week, and this has got to have been the absolute worst I have every experienced. Fingernails were ragged, nail polish on toenails was uneven and poorly done. It was obvious they didn't know what they were doing when they took an extraordinarily long amount of time to apply polish to toenails. I didn't complain right away because I didn't want to spoil my daughter's day; however, I did call & speak with the owner later in the day and he admitted he knew he had assigned his "B" team for our manicures/pedicures. I requested a refund, but he only offered 2 free massages. I don't ever want to go back there again, even for free services. I spent $390 + $50 tip and have never been so angry with myself for not speaking up before I paid for these services. Buyer be aware! If you are not happy, speak up before you pay!!!!!!!!! No one in customer service related industries wants to admit, much less refund, for poor service. It's disgusting!
Pros: Nice new facility
Cons: Poorly trained staff
