When my current vet left Las Vegas I was at a loss. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Anast and glad he did. Our long hair Chihuahua was in failing health and towards the end she was blacking out. She had an episode on a Saturday. I called the office to find them closed, however Dr. Anast answered from home. He said to meet him up at the office. He wanted me to leave her overnight and assured me he would take her home to care for her. Not many vets will do this. About a month later, she was called to doggy heaven and I called Dr. Anast to let him know. He offered to send someone to pick her up, but I said I will do it as I need it for closure. He knew as a gay male that this was my "child" my baby that I lost. It was devastating on myself and my partner to have to wrap her in a towel and bring her in. Dr. Anast told me to call when I leave the house and a staff member will meet me in the back. I did and I pulled up and Dr. Anast stepped away from his appointments long enough to accep
