I took my three (well behaved) kids to lunch there on Mother's Day. I should back up and say first that I tried to order food to go the night before, and they said no, they were ""too busy to deliver"". So I went to Lord Bennett's and they were GREAT. My oldest son wanted to eat here really bad, so we went to lunch on mother's day. The hostess/waitress that greated us was very rude upon finding out we didn't have reservations. (Totally empty restaurant at this point, they must have been expecting people) So after promising to hurry we are seated. Food was bad, service was worse. I guess what really got to me is that we were treated so poorly like it was some hot to trot restaurant. When I worked there 15 years ago, they had they type of little crawly visitors no restaurant wants (the word got censored as inappropriate first go around) in the kitchen and it was a mess. Maybe for Bandon it's high society but in Portland, they'd be out of business. (Big fish in a small pond if you know what I mean)
