First things first. My girlfriend and I wanted to go to an outdor seating place around coolidge corner as there aren't many places like this to eat in the area. We saw the patio, it looked cool as did the inside, and we put our name on the list and were told 40 min. wait for outside seating. We went to the bar, had a drink which was reasonably priced and were seated in about and hour and 15 mins. -, Not happy but no problem. We ordered the lobster chowder for an appetizer and thought it was very good.\r
-NOW IT ALL GOES DOWNHILL-\r
In the middle of our appetizer, my girlfriend's main course salad came. It was quite sub-par, nothing a salad at this type of place should be. The $13 dollar burger I ordered was no where to be found. After the waitress came to check on the food she saw I had no entree and said she was going to check on it. 20 minutes later she came back and said that my burger had been sent to another table. NO problem accidents happen. When I finally did get my meal, another waitor came over and slapped it down on the table. They neglected to bring my side and there was no waitress to be found to see if I needed anything or to make sure everything was ok. Looking at the burger it resembled something coming off a McDonalds assembly line, let alone a place trying to make a name for itself in the trendy Boston market. The manager didn't even have the time to come and make amends for the awful meal.\r
Overall it was a dissapointing experience. I really did want this nice and trendy of a place to work out but I wouldn't go back for another few months until they get all their stuff straightened out.
Pros: Nice place, very trendy, out-door seating
Cons: AWFUL food, waitstaff ok, manager needs to realize his resturant is in the SERVICE industry
