They let way too many people in the aquarium for it to be an enjoyable experience. Some of the exhibits were nice, but Chattanooga, or Charleston were better in terms of atmosphere. I guess we set our expectations high because of the hype. But at virtually every window, we were getting bumped into by other people and kids were running between our legs and stepping on our shoes. I finally decided to skip a couple of the areas and just bail. And then, when we tried to leave, we had to weave through more people and Made-in-China junk in the gift shop. You see, to exit, you must pass through the gift shop. If they cut down on the number of people by about 1/2, then it might be better. There's a difference between crowded, and absolutely packed. When you literally can't turn around without bumping into someone, it's too crowded. And forcing parents to take their small children through that maze of overpriced, colorful merchandise is just wrong. The Georgia Aquarium was the bust of our vacation. Save your money, or go to Chattanooga.
Pros: Easy to get to... adequate parking
Cons: Too crowded to enjoy
