When the pizza is good, its great. On the occasional bad days, its barely average. Same with the service - sometimes fast and friendly. Sometimes both you and the staff are sorry you're there. Mikey's on 38th is slightly better, but slower and more pricy. I've been eating there for well over forty years. When I was a kid, it was consistantly great and service was always wonderful. The old man did everything right. Just not what it used to be. But, all things considered, still the best deal on pizza in west Denver. Cheeseburgers are pretty good, too. Not the best environment for kids, but not terrible either. Usually enough smoke to choke on, but that should be history by now. Really crowded on weekend evenings. Nice, safe neighborhood. Worth the drive - ENJOY!
