Husband and I moved to Portland recently from San Francisco (Noe Valley), and Wildwood is one of those places that makes us feel like we made the right decision. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews here -- we had an excellent meal, from the bean soup to the suggested wines (paired superbly with husband's lamb entree). Only weakness was the dessert, a chocolate cake, which tasted like it had been in the fridge too long. Service was excellent, the manager came by to say a sincere hello, even though it was clearly a busy evening.
Pros: Solid NW cuisine, discreet service
Cons: Weak desserts
