i know, it's just denny's for goodness sake! fast food at it's best perhaps, but maybe one day, someone with the capacity for independent thought, one who appreciates the joy of food and the creativity possible with cooking, one who has a desire to please the palette, will take some fresh potatoes, chop them up, and fry them on the griddle with onions. they may turn out a little differently each time, but, oh, wouldn't that be a delicious treat! real home fries! yummy! you won't get this at denny's.
