I've lived in the P.S. area for about 20 years and Melvyn's is one of my favorite places. My husband and I stayed at Melvyn't when we got married almost three years ago and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and the food is wonderful. We even had our post wedding brunch with family and their Sunday breakfast is fantastic. Now that we moved back to P.S. we make it a point to treat ourselves to this romantic restaurant every once in a while. Melvyn's is a great mix of people of all ages. If you want to experience a place where the locals hang out on a regular basis- this is it! There is nightly entertainment and on weekends the bar is really busy. You'll see the owner Mel hanging around taking care of his regulars. If you want to stay in a boutique hotel and experience ""classic Palm Springs"" this is the place for you!
