I have been going to Friedhelms for over 10 years and have always been treated well, however, being a tourist town the staff is a bite jaded. The food is the the best German food to be had in Fredericksburg next to my mothers. I don't recommend going there on the weekends and prefer to go there for lunch. Try the ""Jagger Snitzell"" (possible spelling error) . The steaks are a bite overpriced , but the German beer selection is good. The atmosphere is lacking and very small town.
