Excellent for a date or anniversary, Akira is tucked away on Green street in Pasadena, away from the hubbub of oldtown/Colorado.
Recommendations: The Fixed Price Menu dinners are excellent, I've had the best lobster I've ever tasted with it, the vanilla bean ice cream dessert is also very nice. Birthdays are done tastefully with a little music box that plays happy birthday and a dessert, nothing more (thankfully). Reservations and window seats are recommended.
