Maize is one of the best-known restaurants in Lafayette. It is upscale American cuisine. They also cater. Everything I have had here has been superb. Entrees include Wild Mushroom and Spinach Lasagna, Chicken-Fried Indiana Rabbit, and Pecan-Crusted Catfish. Their soups are also delicious, It is one of the pricier restaurants in town, but you get what you pay for. The atmosphere is classy, traditional, and cozy. A great place for special occasions, with enough space for large groups.
