On first blush, one may assume this is just another cheesy Tex-mex eatery, but I assure you this place is wonderful. Being from the Rio Grande Valley, I am a Tex-Mex snob, but this place does not disappoint. The exterior is mostly tacky, but the interior is eclectic and hip with elegant lighting, stained concrete, colorful art glass, funky art, and beautiful french windows. The service is always top notch from my experiences and the food has yet to be anything other than perfect. My new addiction is the shrimp flauta, which I have ordered even twice in one week. Never overdone, the shrimp is very tastey and their salsa is excellent. I would suggest ordering a cup of salsa to go for home use. This is one of the best places to eat Tex-Mex in Austin.
