The inside is inexplicably decorated in a hideous red-white-and-blue motif (red checkered plastic tablecloths, blue window trim, a giant gumball machine at the door ("art"?), "We can do it" Rosie the Riveter poster reproduction (Huh? In a place with bazillion-dollar views of the ocean??)). Then comes the food. The coffee was so bad I threw it out (and I was desperate by that point). The omelet I ordered tasted like it was made the day before, frozen, and thawed. The veggies inside the omelet and the home fries were swimming in grease. When I asked if the omelet had been made with egg beaters, I got a "YEAH". No waitstaff = no accountability. We left feeling like we had eaten two grease bombs. The cranky kids being force-fed by their cranky parents looked about as unhappy as we were. Go to First Awakenings instead - right next door.
