My children have been in the care of Dr.DGoldstein for ten years. Dr. &Staff are wonderful. I understand that for some parents it may be difficult to understand the reason behind the parents not being able to be in the room with their child. This is for good reason. This allows the Dr. to build a rapport with the child and also lets the child know that at that moment the Dentist is in charge and the work needs to be done. When a parent is in the room the child than knows how to push that parents button and eventually the child gets his or her way and the parent decides to have the procedure done another day. This is not in the best interest of the child. When we send our children off to school we must let them attend classes on their own and trust the teachers &have faith in our children and know that if anything uncomfortable would occur to the child will know to tell us. If we are fearful of the dentist the children will sense this& they will be insecure & scared. There are childre
