I took my wife to Grey Moss Inn when we were dating back in 1996. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Sorry to say, every visit since then has been more and more disappointing. Prices have soared, steaks have gotten gristly and flavorless, and the service level is dramatically lower. It's gotten to the point we'll never return unless they bring in new management and staff. A chef that knows how to choose and prepare steaks would also be nice. Unfortunately, this seems to be the trend with many former "institutions" in SA.
