We moved to the financial district and have been scouting around for places that are open in the evenings and for brunch week-round. Consistently Harrys has been there for us and has pulled through on countless occasions. I have done a business dinner for 2 mid-week. I have taken a small group of family for dinner. I have hosted a major 7 person get together there. I have been there for quiet dinners for two. I have been there for weekend brunch. I have been there for after work drinks and eats in the bar. Every time the staff have been professional to a tee, the food and drink has been exemplary, and the experience has been good.\r

As someone mentioned, there are actually 3 distinct areas to choose from. Mid-week the bar is rammed but if you can get in and get a table, there are great drinks and bar food to choose from. I can personally recommend the burgers and the steak sandwich - both of which are awesome. Normally I eat in the main restaurant which has a full selection of contemporary American with plenty of steak choices. Finally there is the steak restaurant itself. The restaurant and steak restaurant are both a little cavernous and it has been a little too quiet on the weekends at times, but the staff outnumber us 3 to 1 on the weekends so the service is ridiculously good. Mid-week it is bustling and full of energy but still a great bet.\r

I think Harry's steak is in my top 5 in the city (top 1 and 2 being striphouse and lugers), and if you live in the financial district it would be crazy not to make this a local stomping ground!!! I hope this review helps their rating and I really encourage you to go give it a try! If you dont like the look of it you can always just head upstairs to Bayard's for another great great restaurant with a 9.1 rating on Citysearch, so it wont be a wasted trip whatever happens!!!
Pros: A good bet for an otherwise patchy financial district. Great option for the weekend
Cons: A little pricey, but the service makes it worth it for me.
