I'd like to write a good review of this place. The location is great and the building is cool. Unfortunately, I'd have to dig for comments like ""Wow, the chairs are... aluminum,"" to manage a positive review of The Firehouse. I've been going for years and lately it's getting worse and worse. If you must go, show up during the breakfast rush. After about 11am, though, it all goes downhill with overpriced bad food and abysmal service. Seems like the less croweded they are, the more likely your server will botch your order and make mistakes on your check (usually not in your favor). I've had to wait 30 minutes or more for takeout orders when the restaurant was literally empty-- and still the order was wrong. Management should fix this place because it really used to be a great place to hangout and get a good meal. Not anymore.
