Having lived in France, I'm always looking for someplace where I can get GOOD cheese, preferably French, and Savenor's fits the bill. They have a good selection of cow, goat, and sheep's milk cheeses and generally have baguettes available (though they're not necessarily French-style ""croustillant"" baguettes). There's also a good selection of foie gras. All in all, it's a bit pricey, but worth the trip for an occasional gourmet treat.
Pros: Convenient to Charles/MGH T, has lots of specialty and exotic foods
