We live quite close to Signature Cafe, and over the years, have patronized it regularly in its several incarnations (it used to be Tulips, and then became Egyptian-eclectic, before Nathalie acquired it). The food is generally good, and often excellent, though slightly on the pricey side. However, the owner can be chatty to the point of intrusive (she's a HUGE fan of Bill Clinton), so I'd recommend going when it's busy. The experience that turned us off occurred when we were walking through the neighborhood, and stopped by to have some dessert. Although there were empty tables, the owner refused to serve us just dessert! I have never heard of a business that turned away sober, respectable customers--her logic escapes me. We won't be back.
Pros: generally good food
Cons: chatty (intrusive) owner, refused to serve dessert without dinner
