Axe is always good. Lunch is light and healthy. Dinner is heartier. The wine selection is small but good. The ambience is good, if a little loud (there's not much inside the restaurant to absorb sound). Try the lamb stew and persimmon pudding when in season (fall/winter). They are amazing. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the service is somewhat indifferent unless you're ""somebody."" Make a reservation if you're going for dinner. Wish the back patio was open again!
