Some fellow students and I recently tried the Thai Kitchen and had the most dissapointing dining experience in years. The service was friendly, but the food took over 40 minutes for the FIRST round of dishes to come out, and the restaurant was nearly empty. By first round I mean some people recieved their dinner entrees, then over the next 10 or 15 minutes the other people recievevd their entrees. The food was more expensive than other Thai restaurants in Boulder, and the portions were very meager. The presentation was nice, but nearly all of us left still hungry. The flavors were decent, but not as good as most Thai dinners. Moreover, we were charged extra for rice. I've eaten my fair share of curries at many different locations, and never have I been charged extra for additional rice with a curry. Overall, I felt sick to pay so much for a poor dining experience. I highly recommend one of the other Thai establishments in Boulder.
