I called Charlene's on Tuesday afternoon to schedule a pickup for 4:15 the following morning. My wife had an early flight out of RDU. When nobody showed at 4:15 AM, I called Charlene's. The dispatcher asked if we were sure we hadn't scheduled the pickup for 4:45. After I said no, he said that he'd call the driver and get back to me. Five minutes later, he called back and announced that the driver must be asleep in his cab because he wasn't answering his phone. He then asked if we were sure that there was no cab on our street. When he offered to send another driver (and claimed it would take 10 minutes), we chose not to take our chances. I drove her to the airport myself.
