we had dinner here last week for a birthday. the restaurant itself is very cozy and kind of romantic due to all the dim lighting. the menu was a little light on variety. a few appetizers, only a couple of fish with very bland sounding sauces and sides, and a few meats. the best part of the meal was the calamari, nicely fried and not overly done; and the caprese salad which was fresh. i ordered the lasagna, to my disappointment the pasta was mushy and not very firm. the leg of lamb wasn't bad but VERY gamey tasting. the desserts weren't bad but nothing stellar. the tiramisu was served in a chocolate cup, which was at least interesting to look at. the apple pie wasn't bad either. would we go back? i guess. would it be soon? probably not.
Pros: nice service, nice atmosphere
Cons: so-so food
