I took my car to them for new tires. I bought the car new, so these were the first replacement tires for the car. A year later I took my car to the dealership for repair. They informed me that the back tires were the wrong size (the ones Pep-boys installed). I contacted them about the problem, and they told me that I had to come in and wait (for possibly several hours) just to get a manager to look at the discrepancy - or I could drop off the car for the entire day. For obvious reasons - I couldn't do either of those things. They were completely unconcerned with the fact that their mistake put myself and my car at risk - and their only offer to remedy their mistake was to inconvenience me even further. I ended up spending the extra money and took my car somewhere else. This other company had me in and out within 45 minutes. PROS: Their location is convenient CONS: Extremely poor customer service and workmanship more
