Vegetarian Friendly 9/30/2005

I don't agree with the reviewer who posted before me on 06/15/2005. I'm vegetarian, and love dining at the Melting Pot. Just remember they only serve regular marshmallows for the chocolate fondues, they don't carry those vegan gelatin-free marshmallows. They should offer them and just charge more (they're expensive). So ask them to skip the marshmallows and instead just give you more of the fruit or cake to dip. You can also bring your own vegan marshmallows, which I've done before, and they welcomed it. The gourmet salads and pastas were delicious and vegetarian. And of course, the cheese and chocolate fondues are out of this world. They also serve a plentiful platter of fresh vegetables for the main course. This is actually one of Miami's most vegetarian-friendly restaurants. If you have vegetarian friends, family or date, this is a great place to come and share a meal at! Pros: Great for large group, Nice staff Cons: Not private enough, Not romantic enough, Long wait for seating more
