My dog was sick. The vet failed to look at the lab work before diagnosing her. He ordered some different tests because "he just didn't know what was going on" when it was clear by her lab work what was wrong. He gave up on her and wanted to put her to sleep. She is still alive well over 2 months later. The vet was only feeding her one can of food a day. This was for a 70lb. dog. Our new vet said she would have slowly starved to death at that rate. We are extremely disappointed in the quality of care we received from this vet.
When we initially went in, we waited over 30 minutes in the exam room just for someone to come in and look at her. We were there for over 4 hours. All he did was some blood work and took a couple of x-rays.
When we came to visit, the vet kept telling us that we appeared to be very attached to our dog. Well, of course we are! She's part of the family. I thought that was a ridiculous statement to make.
