Attention sushi snobs of the world! Overcome your ""better judgement"" and go to Minado for a fun, delicious evening when you feel like finding out just how much sushi you can jam into your maw before you collapse. The weekend dinner selection is the best, so if you're going for the first time , plan for then. Try to go AS CLOSE to opening time as humanly possible. Trust me. As for the hot stuff, the beef teriyaki is unearthly good, and the teppanyaki grill is tasty if you avoid the ""scallops"" (Skate, I believe. But it's forgivable.). For dessert, hit up the crepe station, and if you need a ""bit of the cray-chur"", I am very happy to say that Minado's Plum Wine is a DELICIOUS sweet Umeshu called ""Choya"", which is far more authentic than the swill served at many more expensive Japanese places. YOU WILL ENJOY MINADO.
