Pix is my favorite dessert place in town, it is, indeed, like stepping into a small cafe in Europe. On my first visit, I had the dobros torte, which was interesting, but not my thing. The recommended sherry was excellent, however. The last time we went, we asked our extremely friendly waitress for recommendations. I would suggest this as the staff is very knowledgable and all have their favorites. We tried the menage a trois tart, which was incredibly delicous, with the tawny port wine, which was also great. For my birthday this past spring, a friend brought me a couple of their treats boxed up, unfortunately, I don't know which ones they were since they were already boxed when I got them. One was a tropical fruit mousse-like concoction and the other was like a cream puff, both were terrific.
