We've had AAA insurance for 3 years now. We haven't had any problems with them--at least none that we expected. We did have to file a claim when our car was stolen and it took a while for them to give us the actually value the car was worth. I do like that you can go on their website and get info for travel and have maps sent to you. We've used that quite a bit.
