Atlanta does a good job with its smaller, ""mom and pop"", type restaurants, coffee shops, retail and other niche market businesses. When I went into JavaVino I found one of the best local and unique businesses I have ever found anywhere. In addition to some amazing coffee, the atmosphere is really cool. You'll often see the actual Mom and Pop there and the coffee is from their family, from what I heard some people talking about with the owners (at least I thought it was them). My wife and I plan on going and trying their wine side of the business. It looked like they had quite a large wine list and some I knew to be some of my favorites. I would highly recommend this place to someone looking for something new, or someone looking for a regular hang out.
Pros: coffee, atmosphere
Cons: busy
