I went to El Guapo the other night and found it to have a very nice set-up and very attentive and helpful staff. However, the food took a while to come out after we ordered. We had the queso, which was quite good. We also had the seafood paella, which basically turned out to be a big pile of rice with some seafood tossed in (not particularly flavorful). I had the carne asada, which also included chorizo, an enchillada and rice and beans. The chorizo (sausage) was good, but the steak was really poor quality and was not particularly tasty. With the stuff I ordered above plus drinks (two beers & two margaritas) the bill came to $77 after a 20% tip. I thought that this was rather pricey for this type of restaurant and for the food quality...
