I have never been displeased with Marathon Grill's food. A frequent take-out, delivery and in-house diner I assumed this famed ""Marathon on the Square"" would keep up with expectations its title conveys. While it offers a more posh, romantic and trendy ambience and atmosphere that is delightful for brunch, lunch or dinner, I've found the service to be less than desirable. I found my servers, on more than one occasion, to be snooty and in once instance, impatient. The class I had counted on was absent and I was disappointed. The total package did not measure up for myself, but if you value atmosphere over service than I recommend it, but if you'd like to enjoy quality service than head over to the 16th and Locust Marathon, they serve service up with a smile.
