Dr. Awad seemed innundated with work and this led to a sense that he was not as attentive as I would expect a physician to be. He forgot prescription information, could not locate lab results that were nearly two weeks old and actually sent me off to the lab to hunt for them. When I found myself in distress, I phoned his office and found myself talking to a rude Nurse Practicioner who offered little assistance. When confronted with this Dr. Awad attributed it to my HMO until I informed him that I had a PPO and they do not interfere with treatment.
Pros: well trained, bright, good clinical skills, good locale
Cons: too busy, too busy, cannot own mistakes, long, long waits
