This is a body builders hang out and you will see cops pretty frequently too. The food is pretty decent and the bar is well stocked. Service can be dicey and parking is a pain, but finding a clean restaurant on or near the Venice boardwalk is next to impossible. Most of the places hover at or around a B rating and the Firehouse has consistently had an A for the last 12 years I have been going to Venice.
