First went to the Cloverleaf when it was a small bar with the entrance was on Gratiot Ave. Probably in 1979 or 1980 and have been a regular ever since. I'm a bit of a Pizza freak and usually have two a week. But--Cloverleaf is by far the best available in the Detroit area. It's deep dish with great crust and taste. Buddies is a close second but only from their Conant location. I often go there for lunch and sit at the bar and talk to Granny (Sharon) the bartender. She's as much a fixture as the renouned Pizza they serve. Try it--
