Great American food prepared with not so conventional spices and ingredients. The fish was cooked to perfection and the meats were as well. All foods are cooked with Portuguese style spices, which turns foods that we are used to into a wider array of flavors. I have been to The Captain's Place on several occasions without disappointment. It's not a place for a quiet dinner for two. It's relatively small and noisy with a neighborhood atmosphere. Service was top notch and I'll return many times. Very clean and pleasant.
