The Butterfly House is wonderful for infants and children. Lots of bugs to keep boys interested and the garden like setting is like a fairyland for any little girl. The park has an enclosed horse carousel that costs $1 to ride. It goes moderately fast. Puppet Shows and Storytimes are held in the auditorium behind the carousel...a place for children to enjoy and be children. Can be quite loud and rowdy at times during the puppet shows, but it is worth it. Old time village is interesting and various activities to celebrate the settlers are held during the summer. Concerts are also held at the park on summer evenings. During the week the park is usually not crowded. Carousel is closed on Mondays!!
