First impression, arriving around 10:30 on a Saturday night: Cozy, nice atmosphere, but a little too chill. Less than an hour later, the DJ got going and the 'too chill' vibe disappeared as the club filled in and people started dancing. The DJ was excellent, spinning mixes of modern RnB with some early Beastie Boys, reggae and a healthy dose of James Brown. The crowd and staff were friendly and lively - none of the patented LA pretentiousness you see in most clubs. Drinks are reasonably priced and decently made. All in all, a very nice venue.
Pros: Good vibe, Excellent music, No cover
