I was thrilled to have a another nice restaurant in Brookline. But it didn't take long to realize ""it just isn't worth the frustation!"" On first visit, our angry waiter got our orders wrong and made no effort apologize or correct the mistake. On our most recent visit, our hostess reluctantly seated us as we interupted her conversation with another staff member, the menu took 15 mins to appear, they got our orders wrong again and when we asked for the bill our waiter rolled his eyes and puffed ""ok"" but immediately returned to conversing with another staff. The bill did not show up until we are half way out the door..that's another 15 mins later. In short we felt that we were treat with very little respect and no hospitality. Owner of Fireplace - pls do something about your waitstaff.
