I've always thought of Lockkeepers as ""the place"" for birthdays or anniversaries, but you know what? It was perfect for making an ordinary day a special event. The server noted our awestruck look when handed the 700+ label wine list, and sent the Somelier right to us. He made us feel at ease, and like we were very knowledgeable about wine (I'm not!). He must have waved a magic wand because the wine he brought was exactly what we wanted! I had the filet and it melted in my mouth! My partner had the lobster paella, and it was fantastic. The total bill wasunder $150 and was worth every cent. The service, the ambience, the decor -- which for Christmas looks absolutely stunning -- was all top notch. I can't wait to find another ordinary day that needs to be made special like that again!
