Though I HATE the scene, and many items are overpriced, Sushi Samba does have some of the freshest pieces in the city. If you're into pieces vs rolls, this place has awsome sashimi ceviche (cut into thin sashimi pieces-yellowtail is the best), tiradito (AMAZING kanpachi), and nigiri. they get fish (like bluefin) that no other place in the city even carries. you just have to blind yourself to some of the cheesy folks who come here. but i love and grew up on sushi on the west coast and so make myself just do it when i get a craving for real fish.
