We recently stayed at the Hyatt Reston, and while we had a comfortable stay, I've been at other less expensive hotels and received more attentive service with nicer rooms. The beds were much smaller than most hotels I've recently been to, and the hotel is obviously geared more towards business than family--they don't even carry one children's cable station on TV. There is a convenient shuttle that goes between the hotel and Dulles, and it is easy to access public transportation. There are some very nice shops and restaurants in the vicinity (I'd skip the Panera within the hotel--they were constantly out of coffee, milk, you name it).
