If you have even a passing interest in aviation, then you must visit the Naval Aviation Museum when in the Pensacola area. The collection of restored planes is most impressive, and there are recreations of WWII life, plenty of actual jet cockpits for the kids to sit in and explore, a restaurant, a nice gift shop, and of course, the Blue Angels. Another absolute must is to make the early trek out to the airfield on a morning when the Angels are practicing their maneuvers; it's an experience you'll never forget.
