Shiro is a great find. We wanted to try a new place for sushi. When we pulled up it was slightly intimidating. The restaurant looks very nice, but also very expensive. We were pleasantly surprised to see that people had jeans on and the prices weren't too bad.
The sushi was so unique. It is the best sushi I've ever had. They have so many variations that I've never seen before. They had a lot to offer that had cooked fish in in, which I prefer. The different sauces they put on the sushi were so wonderful. I never touched my soy sauce. It would be an insult! They actually took sushi rolls and baked salmon and whitefish onto the top of them.
The prices were about $1-2$ above regular sushi prices, but they have so much more to offer than regular rolls. We will become regulars at Shiro!
