I was trying to replace my engagement ring and sat with a salesperson for an hour while he drew what I wanted. But it took a week to get a call saying they couldn't find any oval diamonds for 3 more weeks. Then, I went in to size an opal ring, telling the salesperson I wanted to wear it more often. She then told me the prongs needed replacement. Then, a week later I get a call saying that they could size the ring but that the jeweler looked at it and the stones are cracked and will probably fall out if he tried to replace the prongs. She said opals are soft gems and shouldn't be worn everyday. Good information but I could have used it during my visit there and not wasted my time. It's just too irritating to waste time with salespeople who don't know their stuff. Pros: good jewelers, attractive site Cons: bad salespeople, can be hard to park more
