After arriving for my 5:15pm male haircut I absorb their wonderous artwork and soon sit down. Then, some stylist snidely says to me, "Gee sir, you're looking a little excited there, for just getting a hair cut!" Having already gracefully handled how loud their music was by remaining calm, and trying to be as understanding as possible about waiting (20 minutes), I was suddenly the unlucky receipient of this hairdresser's unsolicited remark. Nobody likes to wait (especially when you're as popular, glamorous, amiable and fuzzy as me) but nobody likes having sombody tell them that they aren't waiting appropriately. Or maybe, jeering at other hairdressers' clients is just all part of the Mood Swings rigmarole. Also, I felt that if my response indicated even the least amount of disdain, she probably would have attempted to spank me with her hairdryer. A half-hour wait, good clean looking, but $35.00(bitpricey)
