I was recently admitted to the emergency room and then the general hospital at Athens Regional Medical Center. Though the waiting room was slow it was amply-supplied with magazines and chairs and the monitor was friendly but firm.\r

Once in the emergency room the nurses and doctors were extremely friendly and kind. And again in the general hospital the nurses were so kind - they converted a chair into a bed so my husband could spend the night with me. \r

Though is may not be the newest facility, it was well-equipped and comfortable. I will always be going to Athens Regional for my medical needs.
